As the regulatory environments, in which our clients operate, become more onerous, traditional pre – and post-placement services provided by reinsurance brokers take on far greater significance. A number of our clients have already expressed the need for a co-ordinated review of their overall reinsurance programmes by a dedicated provider. Normally such reviews take place at the time of a major renewal season.
We have the expertise required to provide a comprehensive programme review. Our services include:
- Contract review – advice and assistance in drafting slips and wordings to ensure that relevant clause changes, market developments and regulatory requirements are encapsulated
- Information review – advice and assistance in preparing information to ensure a consistent approach across all placements, an issue that can become critical to clients when a number of brokers are involved
- Security review – analysis of all current and prospective reinsurers
- Coverage review – advice on different aspects of coverage to identify gaps in cover and significant differences in conditions
