JLT Re Appoints Pei Wang as Lead Catastrophe Modeler for the Canadian market

Philadelphia: JLT Re (North America) has appointed Pei Wang as Lead Catastrophe Modeler for the Canadian market. Pei will be part of the Catastrophe Modeling team and based out of the Toronto office.

"We are pleased to welcome Pei to the JLT Re team. Having worked as an in-house catastrophe modeler for one of the largest insurers in Canada, and on the catastrophe modeling team of a major reinsurer, Pei possesses significant expertise in catastrophe modeling with particular proficiency for Canada," said Eric Steen, Executive Vice President, JLT Re (North America).

At JLT Re, Pei will play a pivotal role in assisting clients in gaining model insights, understanding the model changes, complying with OSFI B-9 requirements, and implementing advanced analytics to support business decisions.

"Pei's experience will bring even greater value-added services to our clients, especially within the Canadian market," concluded Steen.
